Twilight....

This is a previous started post from before that I never had a chance to post but I am still interested in your responses.Yes people, I am a BIIIIGGGG fan of the twilight series. I may be one of the few that actually read the books before the movies made them so popular. When the movies started coming out I was ecstatic. Due to the lack of babysitter my children went with me to see the third movie Eclipse(about 3 weeks after the premier to allow for less crowds). Obviously the little ones were to young to enjoy(to dark) or understand the movie, but my bigger boys loved it. So they also became obsessed with they whole vampire thing. With this move of the Twilight Saga, I'm a little unsure. According to the cast of the new movie, Breaking Dawn, it will be almost exactly like the book. The book contained some sex scenes and a very graphic birthing/death scene so the movie will also. My kids absolutely want to see it. So my question today is,how young is.....

to young for Twilight.

  1. I currently work at AMC theaters and I have seen the movie several times at this point. I think the movies are wayyyy too much for anyone under 14 or so but the books are perfectly fine. Stephanie Meyer had a wonderful way of going far enough to elicit the proper emotions without going overboard in the books. The movie, however, really pushed the envelope of the PG-13 rating! Awesome movie though!
